this band and album rock. each song is unique and inlayed with harmonious gems. listening to the up-beat, cheery guitar riffs is like a massage for one's ear drums. the $6.00 price is totally worth the music and supporting this excellent band. p. s. it's good for your qi :)

Pleasant Surprise
Free Energy is the pleasant surprise of 2010 for me. Jangly guitars and upbeat, tight arrangements with darker undertones just beneath the surface. Free Energy is reminiscent of the best bits of J Geils and Cheap Trick, but quite original in their own right. This material could have gotten a little sugary in the wrong hands, but Free Energy keeps it tight with just enough edge to make this record a summer classic.
"Dark Trance" is brilliant, hard to resist repeated plays.
