Album Review

Sounding like virtually none of his contemporaries (except perhaps Future Sound of London), Jack Dangers puts industrial textures to work as a mask for intense vocal samples and breakbeat rhythms plus the occasional organic instrument like guitar and even clarinet. Though Subliminal Sandwich sprawls a bit over the course of its two discs (much like FSOL's Lifeforms), it only rarely fails to excite.

Cannot believe that I am the first to review this album

I bought this album back in 1997 (long before iTunes) when I was just getting a taste of Jack Dangers and his skills. This is an infectious album that will grow on you more every time you listen to it. Check 'Nuclear Bomb's' hypnotic bass line. This album is definitely worth a listen and is one of my favourite of all MeatBeat albums.

Half a sandwich for $18, but where's the meat?

Glad to see Subliminal Sandwich on iTunes, but where's the better half? My second cd got stolen. Coulda woulda bought it again just for the subliminal side.
