Love the new music, though it is very diverse compared to his other music. In my opinion, both the new songs and original songs rock. Definetly displays your creativity and pure love for music. All I ask for is that you come to either Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans to play!
Summer candy
Bens new release Summer Candy shows him in a different light. Since it was meant to be a pure summer pop two song release he had the freedom to play around with his sound. Summer Candy is the first song and much more commercialized than Rector's normal piano heavy style. Honestly, it is almost a song I could imagine Bieber singing on the radio which isn't a bad thing. It does maintain rectors style in the fact that you will have lines of the song stuck in your head for days! I just bought it and already can't stop singing. So well done there. While I missed his usually style I enjoyed for the insanely good summer pop that it is. The second song Mr. Mailman is more piano heavy but just as catchy and good! I am happy to have some new material from Rector and hope to hear from more of him soon. Summer Candy leaves me craving more sweet catchy songs like these! Well done!
