Effortlessly, endlessly evocative
I have to agree with og sk8r that this is the perfect Summer Tour soundtrack. In my case I was introduced to A&M by an Indonesian au pair at a castle in the Grampian Highlands. My lover and ex-lover and I then cruised up the fjords of Norway for the solstice, then sailed down to a friend's villa on the Costa del Sol for a week of music, mojitos and languorous sunset epiphanies. "Coulibaly" set exactly the right tone for our private jet tour over North Africa on our way to Phuket and Fiji, although one of the sexy stewards got a bit jiggy with "La Réalité." The whole CD reminds me of lazy afternoons at Cafe Flore in Paris or the summer my parents rented me a mountain top outside Aspen. I'm listening to it now on my way to Iceland where my friends and I will float in the reflected light of melting glaciers.
Beautiful music
This is a wonderful, rythmec peice of art. You can instantly feel the hot sun on your head and the sand underneath your toes. This music takes you to paradise!

My wife and I listened to this album on our honeymoon. We wanted something quaint and intimate so we rented a hundred and eighty foot trimarand and sailed from the Hamptons to first Marbella Spain, a short stop in Nice, and then we stayed in Sicily, and then went to Goa, India. We listened to this album the whole time. I was first introduced to this music at our ranch by a British horse trainer we have. The music is wonderful, I find reggae to be a little scary and hippy style, but this was great. It's ethnicy, it's dancy, and I feel carefree as I did back in my boarding school days in Switzerland.
