Fleet Foxes + Animal Collective = Local Natives (EXCEPT LOCAL NATIVES IS WAY BETTER THAN BOTH)
Local Natives is going to be the next big "indie" band. I want to say indie loosely because there are no words that describe their unique sound. This band definately has originality.
If you are the type of person who is always recommending the lastest tracks, bands, sounds OR if you want to be that person for once, then you should look for their album when it comes out. SERIOUSLY, they are "OFF THE CHAIN!!!"

I discovered the local natives when they opened for the White Rabbits back in November and they blew my mind away!!!!!
I have since seen them again live and I cannot stress how amazing they are, ESPECIALLY live!!!!
their music is a breath of fresh air and the best thing I have heard in a long time emerging from the indie scene.
if you have the chance to come across their album, gorilla manor, and/or see them live, YOU MUST!!!
it will change your musical life!!!!

I love when I just start listening to a new band and they sound so real and so new. I heard their song "World News" on NPR and simply fell in love with them! Can't wait to see where this band will go!
