Brilliant lyrics and music. I love it!!
Love it
This song is full of cheer and whimsy, with such clever lyrics. I love the harmonies and Katherine's lovely, clear voice. This song belongs at the top of the charts.
Sunshine and Rain indeed does make a Rainbow
Katherine Gee's latest hit song, "Sunshine and Rain" is conglomeration of mainly a solo female voice with the accompaniment guitar throughout the piece, which is at times backed up by chorus and other instruments. The song's short and simple phrases keep the work to the point and its simple rhythm and melody are one which you'll find yourself humming while at work. What is most interesting to note is the way in the chorus harmonizes with the lead vocals in a way that is quite touching. If one were pressed to note a drawback to this piece, it would most certainly be that the work seems a little overdone with backup vocals and instruments, which detract from the beauty of the basic vocal/guitar: keeping it simple would have preserved the integrity of the song. However, overall, the "Sunshine and Rain" album which is in stores now is a great buy at $.99 and a good chance to catch this up-and-coming artist. Definitely recommended. *****
