Counterfit is where it's at
Heard these guys on their last tour with Finch and Fivespeed. Hadn't heard them previously, but they gave the best performance out of all of the bands that night. The melodic know-how of The Juliana Theory mixed with the technicality of Tool. Only four stars because the longest song is an instrumental. It isn't a bad song, it just doesn't feel complete without words. Excellent full length. Watch for their DVD release Spring 2007.
Genre Change
Counterfit is simply amazing, i saw these guys right before this cd was released, there music changed my life. As rock/indie music has progressed since this cd has came out, I can hear counterfit's direct influence in music today. The melody's, rythems, guitarlines, drum beats are just brilliant, I don't know how these guys came up with this stuff. Buy this cd.

Original, yes, somewhat. not AMAZiNG but they know what to say and how to say it. So yes, i would recommend this, iif u like thhe genre, u like the song.(S) and they are mighty fine. the songs, in that sense. the acoustics are great and the singing has minimal errs, so have fun listening to it because its fun to listen to.
