Super Hits of the 80s
Horrible both in sound quality and selection of recording venue. Wasted money.
Somewhat disappointed
If you are a fan of the original versions of the 80s songs that you heard on the radio back then, you may want to save your money and skip this one. Most of the songs on this album are re-recordings, even though most are done by the original artists, some are ok, but most of them I did not care for. There are a couple of the re-makes that were done by different artists, such as Great White's version of "Eye Of The Tiger" which was enjoyable. Lief Garretts version of "The Final Countdown"...not so much. There are a few live recordings of some very good hits such as Night Rangers "Sister Christian" and Asia's "Heat Of The Moment" that almost makes the purchase worth the price alone. As a previous reviewer said, yes, 80 songs for $20 seems like a good deal, but overall, if I had to do it over again knowing what I know about this album, I would pass.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Like others have said, if you are a fan of the original recordings by the original artists, DO NOT buy this collection! Sad, just sad, and shame on iTunes for putting it together.
