Album Review
Tosca's second album Suzuki takes a lighter, airier approach to the trip-hop terrain that Opera explored. The spare, shimmering title track's delicate synth textures, minimal beats, mellow rhythms, and breathy vocal samples set the tone for the rest of the album's laid-back tracks. Though "Orozco," "Bass on the Boat," and "Ocean Beat" are more immediate variations on Tosca's relaxed sound, for the most part, Suzuki offers a locked groove of hypnotic, deeply chilled-out epics.

Exotic Beat & Chill
In chopping for other Tosca titles, I noticed that no one had yet reviewed Suzuki. This CD has been a favorite of mine for a number of years. Wonderful electronic "chill" music with a slight oriental influence and some etherial voices (but no words). And though it is "chill" it is not sleep-enducing. The music still alive with some pretty energizing beats. Highly recommended.
I've to agree with other reviewer...
I generally like Tosca, and this is one of their better albums. There is better ambient music than this for sure, but track #11 "Doris Dub" is simply HYPNOTIC... That track outshines any other song on this album by far. Totally mellow, it pulls you along. My recommendation: if you don't want the whole album, just get that one track =)
Fantastic
This album is great for relaxation. I am very impressed with the simplicity of the music but at the same time can be very interesting a relaxing. I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of electronic chill. Every track is a new journey and it is interesting to hear how each track melts into the other. 5 Stars.
