The only bad thing about this EP is that it's an EP. The 4 carefully crafted tracks on PATT's latest and greatest project leave the listener yearning for more. The band has managed to take on their wildly popular genre in the world of indie music to a new level this time around, creating sad and melancholy-themed music that sound somewhat upbeat and cheerful with their interchanging sweet female and male vocals, catchy melodies intertwined with atypical beats, and experimenting with different genres like country-folk and pop music. I love all the songs on the EP and highly recommend it to any music lover who is looking for a refreshing album. Phoenix and the Turtle are a truly talented group and although they brought more vocals to this EP, their focus is still very much the music. Pay attention and it's a different experience every time, for their music is very cerebral.
