"Sweet Songs" Rocks!
This record is amazing!!! For any parents out there with small children, you know how painful it can be to listen to the same squeaky, silly, or sappy songs contained within most children's records. This one is different. My kids love it. My wife loves it. I love it. The music is great. The songs are simple enough to capture the attention of the little ones yet sophisticated enough and laced with humor so that the adults are entertained too. I've even been caught listening to some of the tracks when no kids were around.
My advice; buy it. In fact, this album is going to be my go-to gift for any friends or family with kids this year.
Fun music for the whole family
There are many gems in here! It is on our regular rotation. Our son loves "The Boy in the Tree" while my favorite is the beautiful and powerful "Mama". There is a great cross-section of well known and less known Austin artists that give it a wonderful variety of sounds while still having common roots. I would recommend this album to anyone young or old.
