This is the second release from these Brooklyn Bad Boys. Vocals thick with conflict, lyricism above and beyond any flash-in-the-can lower east east east side "poets" --- these 33 angels can actually wink while they spit in your cereal, listeners will not only accept but keep munching. Arrangements bear taste and example, jingle-jangle mornings, folk-velvet nostalgia assumes, sleepless nights and shattered love. This "double release" will keep you guessing, key cuts: (title track), Modern Marvels, Cannonball, Justine, Old Man. Too many good songs, a greatest hits record in a time of digital mediocrity.
