Best album since Storm The Streets

This album is WAY BETTER than "Invasion USA" (which aside from "Heart Out Of Season" and "Gemini Man"), I found to be very disappointing. I've always preferred Dan's songs over Ben's and "Tarantula" features some of his strongest songwriting to date. My favorite Riverdales songs have always been Dan's "ballads" and "Soultaker" (the indisputable highlight of this album) ranks up there with "I Will Make It Up To You", "Heart Out Of Season", "Back To You", etc. If you like The Riverdales at all, I highly recommend this album. I know I'm in the minority with my opinion but I've always loved The Riverdales more than Screeching Weasel. 27

On a roll!

Ok, so it's a little bit different than their other records, but considering it comes right on the heels of last fall's Invasion; it's a welcome change. I love this band, but 2 full-length records of the same stuff in 6 months would've been bordering on excess. Both records are great. These guys still have a lot of gas in the tank before they hit their Animal Boy phase. Also check out Dan's new band Noise by Numbers.

Great Stuff

If you’re a Riverdales fan you will not be disappointed. Both Mr. Foster and Schafer pull off another toe tapping album. It sounds like the Ramones, and exactly what you’d expect from Riverdales.
