Not what I expected (but that's not a bad thing).
I discovered TLG in reverse. I started with Taught to Be Proud and Rock n Roll Band, THEN moved to Living In Between, Midnight at the Reservoir, and this CD in that order. Everything was progressing along just find until I hit this one. It was WAY different than the rest. Hip Hop elements, dual guitar tracks, less emphasis on Trevor's vocals, much more funk. etc. Still, it's an awesome album and I can't wait until the next one.
Get it, its TLG, man.
I still think Midnight at the Resevoir is the best studio. This one is great though - Funky, Intricate, Fun. Crackers & Cheese, Professor's Blues, and All the Rage are the highlights.
