Worst of 2010

Seriously, this is the worst album of 2010. A few of the beats are hard, but Rick Ross wrecks everything once he steps on the track. The same content is repeated over and over again. I don't think that this dude knows how to be versatile with his flow anymore (not that he ever really did!). Some of the tracks don't even make any sense. Even with the great features such as T.I. & Kanye, this album is straight up terrible. If possible, I would give this album -3 stars. I'm not trying to sound like a hater or anything. I'm just telling it like it is!

It's good for what it is...

I like the beats. They're official for sure. The guest artists are pretty good compliments to Ross. I gave it four stars because it's just a pedestrian rap album. Just more about materialism and less passion. I feel like writing songs about pounds of drugs and how much money you have is really played. I like to dance and vibe out to nasty beats. That makes me put this album in the same category as my dance music. I won't lie though. I feel like the track Free Mason is nice both lyrically and instrumentally (Jay and Legend smashed on the track).
Stand out tracks:
Free Mason 5 out of 5
Tears of Joy 4.5 out of 5
Maybach Music III 4 out of 5 (seriously? When is he gonna stop making (fill in the blank) Music?).
Super High 4.5 out of 5. (Ne-Yo and that beat... I have to give that track a chef kiss because that was cooked up nicely.)

BOSS RO$$

It's not the best album of 2010, but it's surprisingly very good.

Tattooed with pictures of AK-47s, Miami's six-foot, 300-pound rap figure known as Rick Ross embraced his city's reputation for drug trafficking on his debut single, "Hustlin'," in 2006. While Atlanta and Houston artists were establishing their cities as Southern strongholds, Ross aimed at putting Miami back in rap's national spotlight. Ross, real name William Roberts, grew up in Carol City, Florida, an impoverished northern suburb of Miami. Influenced by artists like Luther Campbell and the Notorious...
