Metaphorical Morphorsists
This is a great album, from start-to-finish. It transcends over so many styles of music that blend together beautifuly. A musical ride where you go through so many drastic changes, yet you don't even notice what's hit you until it's over.. One second it's great SynthPop, the next it's on the virge of Ambient. Producer Caesar Filori's great use of guitar and musical pyrotechnics are a stronghold on many tracks. Vocalist/Producer Casey '3pm' Clark's voice is extremely energetic, and the greatest asset here is how 3pm uses his voice as an instrument. It's as important and dynamic as the guitar/synth. It's incredible how they use it to their advantage. Highly Recomended. The way these two cross over so many genres leaves a great product: Pure, Musical Ecstasy. Standout Tracks: Grounded, 95, Circles Around, Ten Thousand Seconds.
Glitering Gem
Ever tried to peg an artist's sound? Sometimes it's not so easy. Though their name isn't terribly interesting, the music most definitely is. Wideband Network creates a new hybrid of sound that is at once familiar and yet teeming with juicy new arrangements that will keep you coming back for another listen just to figure out what makes them tick. If nothing else, this little gem of an album glitters with originality. Get this album before they hit the big time and you can brag to your friends that you heard it first!
