Strange and Beautiful

Eerie, haunting compositions are powered by the most muscular voice in all of metaldom. This album is driven by vocal tension as the music punches through the soft intros into the main drag of the song. You can hear the punch in the clip of End Dream. The other songs have that punch too but the short clips miss it. Meant to Be is the song that really captures the richness of Blaze's voice. I would listen to The Silicone Messiah first, and then get this one, because SM will probably be more accessible to the uninitiated.

Falls A Little Short Of Expectation

The album as a whole is a decent album, with the standouts being Kill & Destroy, Leap Of Faith, Stealing Time, and Speed Of Light. I think the intro track is strange but it opens the album up well introducing us to the Masterpiece of a song, Kill & Destroy. Speed Of Light works better with the intro though, which can be heard on the live album, As Live As It Gets. Other than the standouts, however, the rest of the album lacks any sort of powerful songs, and other than the standouts, I would not recommend the rest of the album. If you liked the aforementioned songs, then check out the live album, As Live As It Gets.

Blaze is a beast!!!!!

So here is BLAZE's next album. It doesn't fail to deliver!!!!! It isn't as good as SM but it still is really close. I think the reason for it being worse is because Forgotten Future is really weird and some songs are a little boring at times. But that doesn't stand in the way of the non-stop guitar solos and riffs!! The best songs are Kill and Destroy, Leap of Faith, and Land of the Bland. GET THIS ALBUM IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
