Glitch Music Aficionados Only Please

I picked this album up on the recommendation of a friend that said it was a good introduction to glitch. I appreciate electronica of most varieties but this is a bit too challenging for me. The tracks are best described as a collection of clicks, hisses and static with occasional pure tones. The tracks are absent melody or tune (with the possible exception of track 10), and rely on complex rhythm for interest. There is a sense of production and thought behind the work, but it is beyond me to appreciate it. To be honest, listening to the samples should be sufficient to understand the work and see if this album is for you. There is no real difference in content, only length. I'm giving this 3 stars for the fact that it was educational and I can appreciate the effort, if not the result.
