Satisfied Anticipation
As a FEMALE radio personality/host and DJ, I receive lots of requests to play tracks sent to me from new artists and LAW was no different in sending me tracks to play on my show and at clubs here in Brooklyn (also my hometown). This much anticipated album is well worth the wait! From his homage to BROOKLYN to his musical visual of woman (or possibly a woman in particular) in NATURALLY SEXY, he leaves us wanting more! Or maybe there is another album in the works? Who knows? But I must say U must pick up this album! Definitely the new school mixes with the old from the most talented kid in the music biz's debut!

This Album Captured My Soul
I struggled to write this review because while I knew I loved the album, I just couldn't figure out how to put it into words. Than I realized that I was too busy trying to articulate it from a musical knowledge perspective rather than just speak from my heart. The truth is LAW's album has captured my soul and sang to me in a place so deep, no words can truly describe it. "Wishin U Were Here" was the first song I heard and the more I listened to his music, the more I allowed myself to be taken on this journey further. While I tend to gravitate towards the R&B sounds, I do find myself enjoying the hip hop beats and I am loving the funk and rock influences. If his voice doesn't already drive me crazy, his guitar handling takes me over the edge. All together it's not just a musical journey, but a spiritual journey. Don't just listen to the album feel it and you will get what I mean.
Amazing artist, amazing album
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this album as I've watched the excitement L*A*W has had telling us about the various songs he was planning to include.
Knowing who has influenced L*A*W makes this album even more special. I can hear those artists he admires come through each of his songs. He has truly accomplished his goal of developing a genre no one can match.
