iTunes Review
The title of Billy Currington's third studio outing hints at musical diversity, which is somewhat true if you consider that he's playing a little bit of everything country. "Swimmin' in The Sunshine" bounces lightly with tinges of twangy, sun-flared, '70s AM radio soft rock that many a generation X-er heard in the station wagon on the way to little league practice (think Poco or Bread). And the infectiously poppy "Life, Love And The Meaning Of" is an uplifting and rootsy ditty that makes good use of a Hammond organ and driving tempos suitable for kicking off an inspired road trip mix. Currington flirts with sentimental Charlie Rich steeped countrypolitan pop on the breezy "Every Reason Not To Go," and on "Don't" he infuses urban cowboy styled wah-wah guitar and floating R&B vocals to create a solid standout that harks back to a time in the early 1980s when you couldn't put on the local country station without hearing a Kenny Rogers or Mickey Gilley tune. "That's How Country Boys Roll" throws the kind of boozy punches you'd expect from a weekend roadhouse brawl and "I Shall Return" surfs on the beachy country pop that Kenny Chesney's been borrowing from Jimmy Buffett.

Aloha country
by Aloha countryI love this album! I can listen to it all day long... happy, upbeat music. I'm a new fan!
People are Lazy
by Paul the FirstI bought this album because of the rep. of the hit tune, "People are Crazy." The hit isn't that good and the rest of the album is a mixed bag, mostly self-indulgent with some questionably sexist lyrics. On the up side, I do hear licks from Dylan and folkie references.
