The Act of Becoming
The first song on this album grabs you and pulls you in. Track after track Lynden delivers an interesting mix of strings, piano, and guitar. This being thier first full length cd, Lynden demonstrates thier ability to fuse other genres into thier music. Hints of jazz and soft rock bring a unique quality to each track. This cd will not dissapoint, and is a favorite in my playlists.
a brave evolution
the guys have outdone themselves this time. "the act" is a mature, more aggressive approach to their softer melodic past. standout tracks include "back together", "indisguise", "the other side", "why (please tell me)" and the surprise wild card "too much". honestly, there's not a bad song in the bunch. in my opinion this is one of the best albums of 2007 - DOWNLOAD IT TODAY!!!!
Amazing album!!!
Lynden has such a refreshing and unique sound that comes through in all of their songs-this is by far the best album I've heard in a very long time!
