Amazing! Every song has power and drives super catchy hooks into your ears that will leave you humming the tunes all day long. THe production and musicianship is outstanding, with a huge range of instrumentation leaving you with a sonic smorgasbord of sounds. Elyse's vocal power, harmonies, and lyrics are second to none. I highly recommend buying this record and telling your friends!
That note in "One Photograph" is electrying
The melodies and hooks on this album are infectious and demand to be heard. "One Photograph" is my personal favorite, cause everybody has a photograph that freezes an emotion in time and that note she hits in the bridge is electrifying.

In an era over saturated with Britney’s, Lady Ga Ga’s, and other power pop females, Elyse proves that chicks can still hold their own in the rock scene in her debut album, The Aftermath. Each track is a perfect blend of sassy lyrics constructed from personal experiences from which Elyse isn’t afraid to hold back. The punchy “Shut up and Listen” will become your new favorite anthem and “Break My Heart Slowly” will remind you of that painful relationship you have finally recovered from. “Victim of Anything” takes you on a tale of the triumphs and struggles of the Los Angeles entertainment scene, while “Damaged” just might remind you of someone that you know all too well.
