Amazing Shred Compilation!
JESUS CHRIST!!! The first Alchemist album was amazing- 27 songs full of highest quality, underrated shredders, FOR $9.99! The second edition is just as amazing. Everyone has heard Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen, etc. forever. These guys are up and coming and establishing an amazing name for themselves, and keeping instrumental shred alive and taking it further than before. While you don't get as much for your money as the last album, it is still worth far more than $10 for this 15 track bundle with everything from classical, to jazz fusion, to straight-up trash shred.
Good bang for your buck!
This is a great CD primarily because it showcases alot of the ultra-obscure guitar virtuosos that don't really get any recogition for their amazing work. I really don't have any major complaints about this CD, it's even cost-effective!
Another great
It's amazing to me how such great under-appreciated artists can get together to make such an amazing album. This being the second in the series, it doesn't surprise me that is was able to improve on the last one. And I even learned about some new players. Fancy that? Names to look at on this one are Dave Martone, Milan Polak, Brett Garsed, Carlos Creator/Robert Rodrigo, and most everyone on here.... I mean, there's some REAL talent in these albums. Pick it up today.
