Incredible Maturity and Musicianship Shown
I first heard this Chicago-based band a couple years ago when they released their "Live To Be..." EP. As strong as an album as it was, I was blown away by the production, performance, and writing on this record. The drums sound like a perfectly blended fusion between live and studio, the bass delivers complex yet easy on the ears fat lines, and the guitars attack you in stereo using an array of effects. The lyrics are very interesting and I feel like the songs take you on a journey and you feel yourself evolving with it. The vocals are delivered with killer harmonies and multiple ranges. Songs to check out: Infectious, Evolution, Minus 2. Looking forward to seeing these guys live. Hopefully they can match up to the killer sound they achieved on this album.
