Album Review

At eight tracks, The Argent Anthology: A Collection of Greatest Hits might be a little skimpy, yet it includes all of the band's biggest hits and AOR staples, including "Hold Your Head Up," "Liar," "God Gave Rock and Roll to You," and a reworking of Rod Argent's Zombies hit "Time of the Season."

Argent Rocks!

I couldn't agree more with everyone else here. But, the real reason nobody listens to Argent is that nobody plays them. No classic rock radio stations, streaming or on the airwaves. That's a real shame. I still have five vinyl albums of theirs: "Argent," "Ring of Hands'" "All Together Now," "In Deep'" and "Circus." Do yourself a favour and seek out as much Argent music as you can find. You won't be disappointed. Hopefully, someday iTunes will compile their own compilations of artists whose material is difficult to acquire in the digital age. In the meantime, feast on these eight songs!
