Great single.
Great song. The full length album should be encredible.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE HERE?
Not only is this an amazing song, but such a unique one for Dr. Dog. Toby sounds possessed at times, there are tiny shades of dub throughout the production, and the guitars... sweet sweet guitars. I love it. Can't wait to hear Fate!
A great single for a great album
With Fate dropping in less than a month, it is about time we had a single. And what a single The Ark is. A song about a man who cannot find happiness, yet knows what he means to be here. A core concept of Fate, both the philosophical idea and the upcoming album. Dr. Dog is the most refreshing band in 20 years, and this just helps the cause.

The Philadelphia-based Dr. Dog are part of a long tradition of D.I.Y. pop oddballs who blend unapologetic '60s pop worship with lo-fi recording techniques and an apparent disregard for current trends.
