Customer Reviews

my favorite of all time

one of the most technical and talented bands to ever be brought together. great drums, guitars and deep passionate vocals. Elements of hardcore and melodic death metal, all brought together into a band that can get you pumped up or make you think. Probably one of the greatest bands to not be discovered yet. fans of the acacia strain, the red chord, and other heavy yet technical bands. but it.

The King Has Fallen...

Never before has a band swept across Connecticut with such destructive force! This was the band you didn't want to see, didn't think about seeing, NO! This was the band YOU ABSOLUTELY HAD TO SEE!!! to believe that they were real. Lou, Rob, Dave, Adam, and Chris OPOT! The Arsonist Plauge is without a doubt one of the greatest metal albums of all time. These guys brought sheer excellence to their music and their performances and this is evident in tracks such as "Age of Oak", "Lie Will Follow", and especially "Wreath of the Coiled". I was fortunate enough to meet them once before I even knew who they were, and see them perform twice. The scene is not the same without OPOT. Buy THE ARSONIST PLAGUE so that we might once again see these guys grace the stage. It will be EPIC or as Krosky would say "SO BRUTAL!"

Amazing Band, Amazing Album

On Paths of Torment is a band that can inspire all, whether through their lyrics, drumwork, guitar riffs, bass runs, or vocals. Brutality mixes with breathtaking musical superiority as landscapes of Every song on here, even The Nihilist In the Rye, holds its listener's attention as it accentuates the frustrations felt by all in terms of what society has become and what it could be if all were to stand up for what is right. Fans of Through the Eyes of the Dead, Light This City, Between the Buried and Me, The Acacia Strain, Invocation of Nehek, The Red Chord, Ion Dissonance, The Black Dahlia Murder, A Life Once Lost, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, the early works of In Flames, and powerful, epic, and intricate music: you will not be disappointed.
