Music that defined a generation
I remember the first time I saw this album at my local record store in 1971. I was 16 years old then and I had a crush on the girl who worked the counter. The cover caught my attention and I picked it up for a closer look. I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought, but the girl saw what I was holding and said, "Hey, those guys are great!" Of course, I bought it and ran straight home to listen to it. I lived and breathed this album for weeks, hoping to find some common ground with her. This album never got me any closer to her (she died later that year) but it did change the way I think about music! Still today, it's a personal favorite and an enduring classic. My favorite track is Austin and Ace.
Funny and just plain good.
I first heard these guys on comedy death-ray radio. Goofy, funny lyrics and great music brought all together with some strangely amazing vocals. I can't wait to hear more from them. Really fantastic stuff! 5 out of 5.
By the way...how am I the first person to review these guys?! They're amazing! Get with it people!

If only I could listen to them more. Sadly my ears are sensitive since watching that scene in Cop Land where Stallone becomes deaf in one ear. So I can only listen to these guys at a low level of volume. But even at that low of a level, these guys are really a great band. I feel like they are truly Karftastic.
