The Beast

So complicatedly simple

     

Mellow vocals and soothing bass lines give this entire album a "wrap around you" feeling. Not only is it easy to listen to, but each song flows into the next as if the whole album was symphony composed of ten fully orchestrated movements. Between the sweeping strings and savory keys, the syncopated rhythms allow for the listener to feel musically adrift, comfortably lost in every song. No closer could Budian have been to writing a modern indie equivalent of the Four Seasons than Vivaldi himself. They successfully expose true musical beauty in The Beast.
