Funky, Innovative, and Refreshing
If you enjoy original futuristic beats and hypnotic vocals, I definitely recommend this album. I first found out about J*Davey from MySpace, they were a featured artist and from there my journey began. Every single song is awesome, perfect for that long drive, getting ready to party, or enjoying a day that's open to infinite possibility. Songs that I find my self hitting repeat on continuously are: Private Parts, No More, Might As Well, Hi Sun, Valley of Love.... If I had to classify the sound: Sounds like a bit of gnarls b., 3000, and Kelis (Tasty album). Enjoy!!

Like ?uestlove, I too have been hoping for something like this for a loooong time. I abandoned the formula, I stopped listening to contemprary black music sometime in the early 80s, because I wasn't hearing anything interesting in it anymore. I certainly hope that Warner Brosthers won't ruin this talented duo. I'd love to see them stay around for a while.

this hot duo from L.A finally drops an offical release. at 2 yrs old, Beauty In Distortion its still fresh and more innovative than anything on the radio right now. They mix funk, electro, hip-hop and pop which gives me eargasms each time i listen. The double album comes with two videos which adds to the value. I have been listening to this since I bought i last night get yours NOW!! u will not be disappointed
