Drawn from five of his albums, this compilation from Kim Waters shows off the gentle, soaring style that he exhibits on soprano saxophone while offering up a few surprises. Issac Hayes makes a cameo appearance on the funk-tinged song "Just Be My Lady," and "Sweet and Saxy" has an upbeat, energetic feel. The Best of Kim Waters provides a nice overview of a career that has spanned over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down.
