Album Review

The Best of Yaz does an excellent job of summarizing the synth pop duo's singles, containing such hits as "Only You," "Ode to Boy," "Nobody's Diary," "Midnight," "Don't Go," "Mr. Blue," "Tuesday," "Winter Kills," and "Goodbye Seventies," plus a couple of rarities — the American 12" mix of "Situation" and Richard Stannard's 1999 remix of "Only You" — to attract longtime followers. That might not be enough for some hardcore fans, who will already have the bulk of this material, but the collection remains an excellent choice for neophytes and casual fans.

awsome albem

this albem is far the most best i have heard in a long time they are really awsome and the vocals are clean and awsom to hear

All-time favorite!

It's too bad Yaz didn't stay together longer. Alison Moyet was just heart-stopping amazing - there was a magic here. She was never quite the same after they broke up. At least we have these recordings. I never get tired of hearing 'em.

If they are including 12" versions, they really missed the boat here..

*Kinda* good, but where's the OG 12" version of Situation & Don't Go?? The OG 12" mix of State Farm would've been nice too, these are same as album versions mostly :(

The newly formed group scored a hit right...
