A singer songwriter in the Dylan tradition
Stories and characters come alive in John's music. His newest effort is by far his best. Help support this genre and one of it's best songwriters.

All the way through, this is an exceptional work. Nice going, John!
There are still storytellers in the world
And John is one of them. In a music culture filled with fluff and noise there is still a true storyteller out there. And his name is John Francis. The Better Angels is a fantastic follow-up to Strong Wine and Sprirts. And while Stromng Wine was a very good album, you can clearly see the growth in John's songwriting with this album. He grabs you right out of the gate with the politically-charged, The Way the Empire Fell. Then he just keeps you there with the country-inspired Johnny Cash on the Radio and the insightful Who?. By the time The Beautiful One is ending you are so caught up in the journey that you have to stay until its finished. And with War Register Blues, Love Came to Me Dressed in Red and the heartfelt, Brother's Keeper, on the way you'll be happy you stayed. I know I am.
