Great Album, Great Band

This album is easy to fall in love with, as is the band! You will be hard pressed to find a song that you don't like. If you get a chance to see these guys live, do it, they put on a hell of a show! Listen!!!! xoxo

Well worth the price of admission

A small time-band with big-time personality and musical ability. This album is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, from the utter heartbreak expressed in "Road to Nowhere", to the cold reality of "Stars and Scars", the carpe diem aspect of "Lover Too Late" and melodic journey of chasing dreams in "California", to finish with the foot-tapping "Clark Ave.". While this is a great album, this is also a band that you should see live. The put on a great show with tons of energy, and BJ Barham is a natural troubadour who knows how to engage and entertain a crowd.

...like a second hand magician of the street...

This is a wonderful record, and really shows the blossoming talent of this Raleigh, North Carolina band! Tunes like Clark Avenue, Tellin a Lie, Come Around This Town, and California not only show the bands diversity, but, ability to connect with their listeners with a tell-it-like-it-is country meets rock and roll attitude. Road to Nowhere and Lover Too Late show the bands complicated and somber side. This is a great effort by the band, Last Chance Records, and has left me eagerly awaiting the release of 'Dances for the Lonely'!
