worth it for the...memories?
I used to watch the black cauldron during "road trips" aka long drive to perdition (my grandmother's house). Despite the fact that it scared the pants of off me as a smaller child, i still really like it, and for me the album is not only really quite swell but a source of fun, for lack of a better word, memories. The Horned King allowed me very few nights of restful sleep.
Fantastic Score!
The score to this film is great. It's so unique and at times, very subtle. Listening to it without the movie makes me appreciate it more. I highly reccomend it to Bernstein or film score fans everywhere.
Classic!
What a great score to a classic, underrated film. Too bad there isn't an expanded release anywhere, but at least iTunes has this original little treasure for us to listen to.
