Customer Reviews
Yet another great album!
I have every album these guys have released, and this ranks right up there as being one of their best! Overall, a great album with well written songs. I personally like "Bourbon Legend", "Time in Hell", and "Can't Tell If I Drink", but every song on this album has me singing along! If you like country music, you'll love this album!
Music for real people.
This is a great cd by a great songwriter. For the moron who gave it one star, Jason would agree with you about meeting him vs. Dylan, and yeah his name and number are probably in the phonebook. That is what makes his music great. He writes songs for the average working guy or gal, not for some computer geek who lives on-line and gets his jollies writing negative feedback. Get a job, get drunk, and if you can (I'd be willing to bet you can't), get laid. Then and only then will you understand, poindexter.
The Bourbon Legend
This album is Jason and The Stragglers' best effort yet. Last Country Song, Bourbon Legend, Up and Gone, Everyday Life are songs that hit me in the gut. There is so much wrong with Nashiville that is so right with Jason Boland. He's not as traditional as Dale Watson but, his style is awesome. His voice is the most haunting since Vern Gosdin and Mark Chesnutt. The songs are well written as Jason's usually are.
