Boy Who Cried Love

Love it....everything off the new CD is well crafted, beautifully written, played and sung...definitely worth buying....can listen to this CD over and over...2 thumbs up Edwin McCain.

Edwin McCain at his usual BEST!

I've been an Edwin McCain fan for a long time and I've been waiting since Lost in America for some original music that hits the groove in me that only Edwin McCain's mix of soul, blues, and Southern rock can touch. I've already pre-ordered the album and can't wait to hear more.

The Boy Who Cried Love...

I loved the song the first time I heard it a few weeks back when Edwin shared it with the world. It is a little different than his earlier work but in another way it is the same. Edwin shares a piece of his soul whenever he picks up his guitar.

"The Boy Who Cried Love" is one of those songs that reach inside of you and make you take a good look at yourself or how you were in your younger days. Being I was a 'girl who cried love' I identified with the person in the song...And like that person I grew older wiser and did better in the relationship thing. (after having my heart broken a few times.) I wish this song had come out when I was 20.

As you can see I love the song. I don't think a bad Edwin McCain song has or will ever exist. I am just happy that the small pieces of himself which he shares with the world touch others as much as they touch me.

I wish Edwin a Number 1 on this song...It is pretty awesome...

And I have heard clips from the rest of the album...You would have to be insane not to love it... ;-) Remember this date: AUGUST 30, 2011..Release date for the album...

A rootsy singer/songwriter with ties to jazz and soul as well, Edwin McCain hails from Charleston, South Carolina, and it was with the support of native sons Hootie & the Blowfish that McCain signed with Atlantic Records. Let it not be said that McCain never earned his contract: his touring schedule is among the most rigorous in music — 300-plus nights per year — and his dynamic band (guitarist Larry Chaney, bassist Scott Bannevich, drummer Dave Harrison, and saxophone player Craig...
