Danny Wilde At His Absolute BEST!!

By far and away, my favorite Danny Wilde release! His first solo release after Great Buildings is a straight ahead rock album with pefect pop sensibility. Not only does Danny have one of the most emotive voices in music, but his ability to form interesting harmonies and chord changes sets him apart from most of his contemporaries. In addition to Danny's brilliance, you get Phil Solem (The Rembrandts) on lead guitar and his unique chord phrasing and Pat Mastelotto's (Mr. Mister) groovy backbeat. If you only know Danny from The Rembrandts and their hit "I'll Be There For You", don't be fooled. As wonderful as most of The Rembrandts material is, this recording takes the rock and roll up a notch and delivers on all levels! Buy it, crank it up to 11 and ROCK OUT!! Thanks iTunes for getting on board with this release.

Finally!!!!

Late 80's Classic! Summer of 1986, Pearsall Texas!!!!!

The Best Album, you've never heard!

I can't explain how or why this album is so good. If you listen to it twice, you'll be addicted for life. I like all of Danny's music, but this is head and shoulders above anything else of his. Thanks to whoever FINALLY put it on iTunes.

Biography

Born: June 03, 1956 in Maine

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '80s, '90s

Danny Wilde was a founding member of the sadly overlooked The Quick, a now-legendary power pop band which featured future members of the Cruzados, The Three O'Clock, and The Weirdos. Their debut LP, Mondo Deco, made them one of the first L.A. D.I.Y. bands to record for a major label (Mercury), but it proved to be the only such release. The EP Alpha/Beta, recorded in an unsuccessful bid to score a new deal with Elektra, was released through their fan club in 1978, and the band soon called it quits....
