A Great Find...
If the Faces and Eddie Cochrane had love children, they would be the Breakers. Clearly their influences are from a generation ago, but these are well written songs, well produced and presented with an honest, simple approach that does them justice. All in all, this album is a great find. I never heard of the Breakers before today, but I'll definitely look up more about them now...I'm a new fan.
Eat it Pitchfork
Rock N' Roll at its finest. The Small Faces, Sam Cooke, the Rolling Stones, and the list of influences go on. Pitchfork can keep the Arcade Fire, Bright Eyes, Radiohead, and any other sleepy time band they can fawn all over. Real Rock N' Roll is in the hands of Little Steven.
