A return to the land of "The Bronx I"

After parting with Island/Def Jam, the Bronx have returned with a record that strips away the polish and texture of "The Bronx II" in favor of the more raucous RAWK that powered their first record. While the Bronx II is one of my Top 10 favorite records of all time (out of a library of 3000), this 3rd full length is a worthy addition to their catalogue. If you raved about "Bronx I" but were turned off by the slicker production and nuances of "Bronx II" (like the song Dirty Leaves or White Guilt), then the Bronx welcomes you back into the fold with the raw power of "The Bronx III." While I miss the varying influences that punctuated "Bronx II", "Bronx III" still packs a punch and doesn't let up for a moment.

An amazing piece of work by an epic band !

Wow ! Anyone who is a Bronx fan and knows their music, will definately appreciate this new album. All of their songs that they have made are incredible but this album shows the true diversity of this band. Each album has sounded a bit different in its own way, but The Bronx sound has truly shown up in this masterpiece this time. Props to all 5 of you for making such an incredible album. Now it's time for you guys to take this world by the neck and let them know who you really are ! Matt, you are still the best live performer I have ever witnessed on a stage, a true frontman !

Known for a blistering live show, the quintet attracted attention from major labels after only a handful of performances. An offer from Island/Def Jam materialized after the Bronx's 12th gig, but the band decided to issue several recordings on its own label, White Drugs, before...
