Awesome & Innovative!
This album is a perplexing conundrum in the very best sort of way. Its catchy, pop-y, and whimsically tragic in an uplifting sort of way. Yet upon further listens, I can always find something new, meaningful, and inspiring as this story unfolds. This sort of depth & creativity is servely lacking in most of today's music. Kudos! One of the best upcoming bands I have heard!
Innovative
Very innovative and theatrical - clearly this is concept driven and while the songs stand alone it's really experiential to listen from beginning to end. This is in my top five for 2007 - what a surprise from a band I know so little about. Among the highlights, "Great Vacation" and "Someone" are outstanding and although I'm not big on covers "Eleanor Rigby" is an appropriate and worthy addition to the overall concept.

I got hooked on Aranda and No More Kings lately, and they both recommended The Cage. They are amazing, and all their songs are great. ...WOW! xD awesomeness
