Painfully missing...

Fungus... Not a complete collection by any means.

Amazing!

They will most likely always be my top band! They are so different they are practically a genre of their own.

(how come the picture says 7 albums and there are only 6 to be bought?)

not the end of the world without Fungus, People!

If you are a true Incubus fan, and listen to music for all aspects of the offerings; then you , like me, dont have a bit of problem with the sound of a band changing. Their dynamic remains the same, its called maturity, and it comes with age; whether talking music, or just simply life. Science is my favorite album, and fungus my least favorite, if I had to choose; although, all are essential to the band they are today, and they are, by leaps and bounds, my absolute favorite band. Luckily, I dont have to choose, and cant help but feel mesmerized by every sound and lyric this remarkable band creates, they are inspiring; even to a person with no musical inclination, such as myself. When it comes to Incubus, one thing is certain, every album is unique. Who really wants eight Science albums? This band has grown, and although they make music for their fans, I truly believe they do it for their own personal benefit as well; maybe even more so. I have absolutely injected myself into every album they have released to this point, and shall continue this as long as they grace my life with the music that lives and breaths as theirs does. These guys are amazing, every note and every lyric. I know this is all opinion, and may seem pointless to a sea of cynics; but I felt compelled to put it out there. If you are not satisfied with where they have ventured as a band, maybe you should think about how far you, as an individual, have come; what youve experienced and how it shaped you as a person. the same goes for Mr. Boyd and the eliteness that is Incubus. Have another listen, or 20, if you must. Read the lyrics, and place yourself within them; everything they do is deliberate, and borderless. They write and play like a group of men who have experienced the life full of love, loss, fun and falls that the majority of people like you and I have experienced; and the music, 90% of it, is delivered so that we, the listeners, can interpret and relate as we see fit. One album is not better than another, its just different, and these gentlemen, will in my mind, be the best that have done it as far as consistency and relating to a general, sane mindset. I am around the same age as most of them, 33, and I cannot wait to introduce my 3 year old to music; Incubus.... well they are my favorite, but are the tip of the iceberg compared to what he will be turned on to. But they will forever be my favorite, and he will certainly know this.

Incubus became one of the most popular alt-metal bands of the new millennium, setting themselves apart from a crowded field with a tireless touring ethic and a broad musical palette. Formed in 1991 in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Calabasas, CA, the band's early lineup was comprised of tenth-grade classmates Brandon Boyd (vocals, percussion), Mike Einziger (guitar), Alex Katunich (aka Dirk Lance; bass), and José Pasillas (drums).
