One of the best
So, I figure anyone from AST is going to buy this album without even thinking about it, but if you're out there and interested in comedy and know nothing of Graham Elwood, I would highly suggest purchasing this album. He does comedy that is palatable while still being edgy and original. He makes me laugh out loud at premises that I would roll my eyes at with other comics.
If you're unfamiliar with alternative comedy (which you must be if you're unfamiliar with Graham) this is a great way to be introduced to the movement. His energy is fabulous, his jokes are some of the best, and by the end of the album you will absolutely be in love with him.
Am I missing something?
Did I totally miss something here? This guy was so spectacularly unfunny! He was the classic "I'm so loud and wacky, aren't I!? Loud talking!! Boom shakalaka!!" He didn't have any jokes - it was just a few run-on unfunny stories. I kept waiting for something clever, surprising, original and good. After listening to guys like Bill Burr, Demetri Martin, Daniel Tosh and Mitch - it magnified how un-creative, unoriginal...and unfunny he was.
Funny as hell.
A great album that was a long time coming. Track 4 has a few moments that don't translate that well, but over all this is a solid album. Too short, but still well worth the money.
