First Full Length Album

wow. there arent enough words to describe how important this band has been to my life. i still remember the first time i heard this album. "The Day the Country Died" grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let go. It was like being woken up. The world was on fire. They knew it and so did I. dick lucas was obviously inspired by crass and george orwell's "1984" when he crafted this lyrically distopian album. musically, "The Day the Country Died" stands the test of time but lyrically it seems a little immature when compared to the rest of thier work. That's ok, though. As with all Subhumans recordings, "The Day the Country Died" is definitely worth having. But be careful, their music has been known to change lives... for better or for worse. You decide.

This band changed my life, and this is the record that I heard first! I cannot begin to describe how profound this album is! It is so worth owning that it is ridiculous!
