About Time
Thanks for finally getting us this album iTunes, maybe next time you can get it to us when it actually releases. Thats your job. This album was definitely worth the wait though. 5 STARS
Cinematic rendering
This is a departure for Between Interval. BI's previous efforts were solidly dark ambient, brooding , foreboding, mysterious. This is more evocative, like a movie soundtrack. Good stuff and recommended.
waste of money
Ambient music does not equal tons of reverb. But that is appearently all Between Interval knows how to do, that, and mindlessly repeating chords and loops over and over again, for minutes, without any change. There is reverb though. I was fooled by the samples to think there would be some talent and developement in the songs. Minotaur's Lair for example has a mindnumbing bassline that repeats throughout the entire song, accompanied by some uninspired pads once and awhile...and lots of reverb!
Poor quality ambient, not recommended.
