This is essential Kudu
This EP represents Kudu's transition from their jazzy natural side to their brilliant electronic future selves. "Gimme a Kiss" is a song way ahead of it's time and the starkness of it really showcases how brilliant Sylvia is a songwriter. "Red Light Green Light" is another stripped down fav - The bridge is so simple... yet so perfect. The Cannibal Remix is way more aggressive than the original, a good listen. Vines and Blue Memory are deep cuts that drag the listener to their own underwater world of love and loss. I think this might be my favorite piece of Kudu... Death of the party is awesome, definitely got some great production but maybe a lil' bit tongue and cheek. The Ep has a deep heart and soul and still manages to have the electronic brashness.
