Album Review
With a series of greatest-hits collections being issued and repackaged over the past few years, this installment of the Essential series puts them all to shame by collecting not one, but two discs' worth of the jazz saxophonist's career. It's far more inclusive and thorough than most collections, as it spans everything right from the beginning up to his latest endeavor, a collaboration with R&B legends Earth, Wind & Fire for their cover of OutKast's genius "The Way You Move." There's also a strong inclusion of holiday favorites and cover songs that are evenly spread throughout, but they give the disc's sequencing an erratic feel at times. This is, quite simply, all the Kenny G one could ever possibly need or want; compact enough to satisfy casual listeners, and broad enough to satisfy the legions of fans that flock to the man.

by FbiupyourzLove his songs!..I had a blast lisening to his songs in junior high school. I would write stories while sitting in my English class and lisen to the songs my teacher would play. She would always put kennys songs first and it always made me feel good. Always looked forward to this class beause Kenny always made it better.
Kenny G is not for me!
by $TMoney$34Kenny G has lost his touch. I used to be captivated by his relaxing beats and interludes but this is just pure and utter garbage. My 5-year old Sylvester can make music better than this with his spoon and fork at the dinner table.

GREAT CHILL OUT MUSIC!
by Don the MadDogKenny G put a trademark on a certain style of music that may be too commericial sounding for some. Hey I know he isn't John Coltrane. But just like Slipknot and the Beatles may both be called rock bands nobody with sense is going to put them against the same aesthetic yardstick, you shouldn't be comparing him to some of the more traditional sounding greats. Totally different styles.
