Simply amazing!

Mae has managed to create another exceptionally beautiful album, both lyrically and musically. "Were So Far Away" is beautifully composed and sung; it's one of my favorite songs ever written. The album truly flows as you listen to it, telling the story of a man's journey through life; his trials, tribulations, joys, and sorrows. It's all there and it's amazing. The ending song, 'The Sun and the Moon' is classic Mae, starting off soft and building into a climactic finish that works perfectly! Buy this album; you'll be glad you did!

Perfection. Seriously.

Throwing around superlatives can seem a little overzealous, but I am legitimately sincere (is that redundant? haha) when I say that "The Everglow" by Mae is the best album I've ever heard. From the unique and beautiful beginning to the epic, grandiose finish, this album never ceases to engross you in a musical experience matched by few and surpassed by none. This album will give you chills, make you bang your head in some places, soothe you, mystify you, amaze you, and ultimately take you on a self-described musical journey. To call this album transcendent only scrapes the surface. Although this is a concept album describing a man's life, it does not lose itself in the effort of the story. The story and music become one in perfect harmony- and I love me some beautiful harmony. Every detail of every song is necessary. Nothing is wasted, and everything is gained. This is a perfect example of a perfect album. This goes without saying, but it is more than worth any money you spend on it. I won't suggest individual songs for purchase, because this is an album that is meant to be listened to as such: an album. The songs all fade into each other, so it really is an experience. The search for The Everglow ends now.

Amazing

I can honestly say that this is Mae's best album by far. Every track on this album is awesome, I love the sound of it and the way the whole album flows together. A great album to buy, I recommend it to all, its an easy going, mellow type of music. Amazing!!
