Struggle, tension, hope...it's all part of The Fallen Cry
With The Fallen Cry, Relevent Reverence has succeeded in capturing and expressing the heart of the despairing yet hopeful worshiper. Track after track expresses the struggle of maintaining an eternal hope within a broken world and aching flesh. Honest, genuine, and thought provoking The Fallen Cry lyrically explores struggles with doubt, unfulfilled expectations, shame, and sin. Musically, The Fallen Cry ranges from quietly desperate to raucously emotional. The album culminates in a track entitled "It's Over," which functions as the Savior's response to The Fallen Cry of His people. This track - written from the perspective of Christ - reminds the believer that they are not alone in their struggles and that Jesus Himself walked the often lonely road of human existence. The Fallen Cry is a triumph and a great follow up to Relevent Reverence's first project entitled Still Running, which puts to music the story of the Prodigal Son.

Exceptional album -- The Fallen Cry a must-have addition for any Christian music library. "Blinding Light" is blindingly lovely.
