earns my grammy nod
It's rare to find such craft, musicianship and well.. plain pure talent on a record. The melodies hit hard, some of the most beautiful and catchy tunes I've heard in months. I cannot emphasize how important it is that you give this a listen. Give it a try and grasp an understanding of how good music differs from great music.
Perfect blend of old and new
For any thisdayandage fans, some of these songs feel like new additions to the music we have been listening to over and over in the last few years since they disbanded. Everything about the album is great - instruments, lyrics, vocals, mood, and tone. And you can hear the distinct and yet blended styles of both Jeff and Steve. This is what quality music sounds like.
Wonderful
I came across this album from The Reign of Kindo's myspace page. I listened to a few songs on the First Joke page and thought that it sounded pretty good. Today I purchased the album and was blown away. The album in it's entirety is beautifully written and incredibly accessible. I recommend this album wholeheartedly.
